Celebrity Chef, Theo Randall Cooks with Parmigiano Reggiano at Taste of London 2014

On Saturday 21st June 2014, celebrity chef Theo Randall hosted a live Parmigiano Reggiano demo at the Taste of London show in Regent' Park.


The show was visited by over 50,000 people during the 4-day festival, with over 40 renowned restaurants and their chefs exhibiting. There was a large and engaged audience of around 250 seated and standing guests for Theo's Parmigiano Reggiano demonstration at the Electrolux Taste Theatre. During the demo, Theo spoke extensively about Parmigiano Reggiano, discussing the product, its history, ages and special qualities. Following this year's theme of unusual flavour combinations, Theo showcased the versatility of Parmigiano Reggiano with a recipe of Pappardelle with Braised Duck, Peaches and Parmigiano Reggiano.

In addition, throughout the show, Theo displayed half wheels of Parmigiano Reggiano in his pop-up restaurant, along with Parmigiano Reggiano POS materials. At the pop up restaurant, Theo freshly chunked the cheese and handed it out to the crowd to taste whilst discussing the qualities of the product. The stand received positive feedback from visitors who really enjoyed the opportunity to taste the product.


Taste of London is a sumptuous and indulgent food and drink festival set in London’s Regent’s Park. From just one show in London ten years ago, Taste has rapidly grown to become an essential part of the social season for foodies, restaurant-lovers and chef-groupies.
