Alaska is famous around the world for its wild and sustainable seafood. In fact, sustainability is so important to the State of Alaska it was written into the State Constitution in 1959, mandating that the fish…be utilised, developed and maintained on the sustained yield principles. The State's long-term involvement has ensured continuous, wild and healthy harvests for Alaskans and consumers around the world.
